MATCH PREVIEW | Llanrhaeadr v Penrhyncoch

The Roosters travel to The Recreation Ground, Llanrhaeadr for the first match of the 2019/20 JD Cymru North season.

Penrhyn start the league campaign off the back of a disappointing 2-1 loss at the hands of Cymru South side Ammanford in the Nathaniel MG Cup a fortnight ago in which Carwyn Morgan got the only goal for the Roosters.

The Roosters will be missing a few names with Matthew Pemberthy, Carwyn Morgan and Ifan Burrell all unavailable for the game.

Llanrhaeadr finished 11th in the Huws Gray Alliance last season and will prove a stern test for Gari Lewis' side as they look to improve on last season's 13th place finish, escaping relegation in the dying minutes of the season.
